Every company wants personality. Until the brand has an opinion.
Every brief says “stand out.” The reference says “like these guys.”
Every homepage says “We do things differently.” So do the other six tabs you have open.
Every brand is innovative, passionate and customer-focused. The competitors will be devastated.
Every headline can have attitude. Just nothing anyone might disagree with.
Every bold design gets one last request. “Could it feel a bit more familiar?”
And every agency promises something unique. We have reference folders too.
Nothing looks wrong. Nothing sounds wrong. Nothing gives anyone a reason to remember you.
Different doesn’t have to mean weird. But it has to mean more than the same promises in a different font.
Say what you actually believe. Show what makes your work different. Let that shape the words, the design and the website.
Give people a reason to choose you. And something to recognise you by.
Cover the logo. Can you still tell it’s you?
Based on actual feedback. Vol. 03.
Stir it. Drop some magenta. Watch the whole identity drift off.
One tap brings it back.
Make a mess.
More “here’s what we did.”
Brand identities, websites, moving images.
Different briefs. Different answers.
Take a look around the new dozfx website.
Your next project might start somewhere between the pages.
Bold is easy to approve as an adjective. The interesting part starts when it becomes a design decision. Give the different option a fair hearing before asking it to blend in.
If nobody knows what happens next, it wasn’t a useful meeting.
We’d rather agree on the job, make the work and have something real to review.
Tell us what needs making.
We can start there. AI sorts the input. Humans make the calls.
Bring the messy version.

Eighteen keys. One logo.
Play it. Drop marbles. Tilt the whole thing.
Even our logo has a side project now.
Sound on. Your turn.
LION Bar & Restaurant. Brand identity, signage and the details that bring it to the table.
One character. From the front door to the place setting.
The new dozfx website is live.
Selected work, experiments and a closer look at how we put things together.
Human taste. Machine speed.
Now with somewhere to click.
1988. Joe was part of the C64 crew VISION. Code, graphics, the urge to see what a machine that looked like a typewriter could do.
This is one of the demos he built with VISION, released in January 1989. The original program, running again.
Different tools today. The same instinct to make things.
And we give it the same attention as a brand film: a clear story, strong visuals and a reason to keep watching.
The dinosaur is optional.
